Robin’s Adventure: A Knock Your Socks Off & Your Heart Open Adventure in Life
Naked In Eden brings us into Robin’s inner sanctuary and is like partaking in a holy sacrament.
The sacrament is Nature and our tremendous opportunity to be healed by the living organism of the earth we tread upon, but rarely meet personally.
Robin’s soulful and healing journey brings us to an awareness of our own innate capacity for connection and healing, our own longing for the wild in us.
Robin chose to face life full force in a soul-inspired, gentle manner, all the while courageously confronting every fear we humans commonly sweep under the carpet, hoping they will magically disappear.
Robin faced dangers in the wild that most of us never confront – both in nature and in her inner world.
I didn’t want it to end.
My heart hung on every word and laughed and cried over and over. Her writing style is both outrageously hilarious and poignantly heart wrenching. Robin’s compassion and love is food for the soul.
I hope you have the opportunity to take the journey with Robin by reading Naked In Eden.
Be well, and may you experience the best nature experiences ever!

Lauren,
“…the longing for the wild within us…” –> I love that line! And that is something that Robin truly embodies! Within that, I really feel a deep sense of peace…peace in that “wild” of life…and that it is a part of our deeper makeup…
Love to you both!!

Dear Lance,
Yes, Robin embraces and exudes the wildness, the compassion, and embracement of all aspects. I love her inclusiveness of sorrow as well as tremendous joy and fun. It’s what makes us real, inclusiveness.
I can trust that deeply.
You seem to seek the deeper aspects of our makeup, Lance…and I’m still picturing you running your special marathon – yippee!
Love to you too,
Lauren

Dear Patricia,
I’m so glad you enjoyed it too. Robin’s book feels like a healing salve and we can all benefit from that!

Dearest Lauren!!
I am SO very moved by your incredibly open heart and exceedingly vivacious nature. If I had to pick two words that defined you I think they would be Love and Liberator!
You love abundantly and with arms and heart wide open. If I were a child I would constantly be begging my parents to take me to see “Auntie Lauren”!! LOL!!
If I were a little girl I would be in awe of your open vitality. I am a grown woman and I am equally as in awe of your open vitality, and ability to love.
You also are one of the most powerful “liberators” of souls that I’ve ever run across. And you were like that with me from day one. You didn’t wait weeks and months to express your love and vitality, you did it “Right Now”. As if it were all you knew, and it were the most natural thing in the world to do, the only thing to do. That is so amazing. In doing that you confirmed so much for me. I saw so much of me in you or you in me. You set people FREE Lauren. You really do. I know, because I’ve experienced it, experienced you.
Like our dear friend, Lance, said, I LOVE this line: “…longing for the wild in us.” Ooooh, that is SO beautiful. You really do understand and know. And I am really grateful, so grateful.
Lauren, and I am hugging you right now for all you have given of your spirit all these months. I also loved that you were comfortable with both the “outrageously hilarious and poignantly heart wrenching” aspects of “Naked in Eden”. Life is like that, isn’t it?! A mix of all things. I love that about life.
Know that you are a very special soul, one who is so abundant. You enrich my life with your generosity of spirit, your love, your wisdom, and your caring.
SO Much love to you my dear sister friend.

Dearest Robin,
My goodness – I forgot your link…oopsey, corrected…and of course in your graciousness you didn’t point it out!
My dear Robin, your kind words are so wonderful to hear. I’m smiling because I, like my dad, have been a dog liberator. Hmm…what’s a dog liberator? One who as a child and young person goes around and unleashes poor doggies that are tied to dog houses. And then what happens? Well, all hell breaks loose of course! It’s all so very wonderful and magical.
I do so love children. We seem to migrate toward one another and I’ve been blessed with being an auntie to quite a few little crumb snatchers in my time. Kids are precious and open and alive, filled with wonder and innocence. They need us to nurture and protect their vulnerability and encourage their unique individuality.
Indeed the mix of life is remarkable beyond description and I cry as I read your words here. You embody it all in a way that inspires me to the depth of my bones.
Robin, you embrace life in a way that provides an amazing example of living life to its fullest, squeezing all the juice out of life that can be squeezed…and then pushing it a step further. Ever exploring, expanding, “seeing” more, feeling more, being more.
I love you so so much.
In sisterhood,
Lauren
